Mukid Choudhury merges elements of dance, drama, text, cinema and media from Bengali diverse sources into a complex performance. Mukid Choudhury investigates these elements, modifying them, de-contextualizing them from Bengali sources. Contexts and elements are free to be structured in new and surprising ways, creating a connotative network of echoed and reverberant meanings. In this multifarious approach, Mukid Choudhury strives to reinvigorate Bengali theatre for a contemporary audience.
